Milky Way and The Galaxy Girls (MWGG/MWaTGG for short) was a toyline of dolls made by Lauren Faust around 2003-2004. You might know her for her work in MLP:FiM and PPG. She had made these characters before she had to work on MLP. It featured the objects of the solar system characterized as teen girls (..also with roller skates for some reason...?). After 2015/2016 however, everything about it had completely been sent to oblivion and forgotten over time both by Lauren and the fans. I can't say I'm a brony myself but as someone who's into astronomy, I value these goobers on a personal level.
I think it's certain that this idea is never gonna make a comeback but there are speculations on what could've happened if it got greenlit.

This fandom is like Schrödinger's cat. It can either be alive or dead.... at certain times though. Lauren looks like she still acknowledges MWGG due to the unexpected attention it got during the years 2021-2023 since it has been shed light onto by various online entities. However, the fandom right now is kept alive only with the help of fan content. So please, go and show support for the creators!
